Hollis Schmidt is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Addictions Counselor in the state of Colorado. She opened The Oaks Therapy Group to help support individuals struggling with substance use concerns, identity concerns (LGBTQIA+), elevated rates of depression and anxiety, as well as support individuals managing major life transitions.
We offer individual therapy, group therapy, and substance use support sessions (SUSS) for family members of a loved one who is struggling with substances.
At The Oaks Therapy Group, we specialize in individual counseling, group therapy, and substance use support sessions for family members of a loved one who is struggling with substance use. Our approach integrates various therapeutic techniques to cater to the unique needs of each individual. Clinicians utilize a combination of Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) as their primary interventions.
